About Us
"Wild Lakeland delivers conservation ecology and habitat restoration throughout the Lake District and Cumbria.
Our specialist areas focus on both plants (botany) and birds (ornithology), particularly within upland habitats. We offer a mixture of field survey and consultancy including; project design, planning, management plans, surveys and monitoring, right through to hands-on conservation such as hay meadow restoration and tree planting. Being an independent organisation means all work is tailored to the individual client's needs.
We work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders including farmers, private landowners, Natural England, the RSPB, Rivers Trusts, Woodland Trust and Cumbria Wildlife Trust".
